If you can afford it, you're better off doing the whole lot in one hit. It'll save you the time and hassles further down the track.

took the car in today said I need new coils. th guy said e would get on it righ away and call me when it is ready, didnt ge a call so called him t about 2 hadnt even got the old cils and that out said he ws starting then. ten again got a call at 4:30 sayin the car wont b ready, at this stage I wasnt the happest person ever so he said it will be done first thing in the morning and im getting all 6 coils replaced for $450 so very happy after origanly getting 2 other prices at $600 and $580. cant wait to drive her again

man that is a bull sh*t price the joys of getting workshops to do jobs for you.. I got genuine ones off eaby for $185 a few months back for 6 all sealed in seperate bags and then sealed in another ford bag with part numbers so were deffently genuine ones.. hopefully you get it sorted and car back in the morning mate..

I am a little sus on those ebay "genuines". There is no way that they can be legit for that price. The dealer buy price is more than that. So I'd imagine that they are either copies or something else. I know that if you bring them in from OS, you can get them printed or packaged anyway you want.

FYI. I can get genuine Ford genuine coils for A LOT less than $450. And they come with a 2 year Ford warranty. Fitting them is 30 minutes work.

dam dosnt look like im gettng as good a deal as I thought. live and learn I guess. I have never being a huge fan of buyin from ebay as I dont really no wat im looking a and wether it would be a fake or not and I was thinking of buyin some and tryin to install them but im not very machanical minded so didnt want torisk getting the car apart possably braking something and then not being able to get it back together
