Holding down FM and MENU turns it back on again, but I don't want to have to do this all the time. The memory for the audio settings and CD seem to keep, but the FM station presets don't hold.Is there a way for me to DIY fix this, or do I have to take it to Fraud? While driving, it stays on for about 3 to 4 minutes before switching off and coming up with SECURITY CODE ERROR.The good thing is that all the air con settings still work. I removed the + on and off the battery a few times and letting it sit for a while and it cleared its self and started.. did the same as you looked at every fuse and relay changing them but that did nothing too.. probably no help to you *Beep* but that's what I did to my f6 and it eventually worked after 2 hours of stuffing around pulling my hair out lol.. ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 21y 3m 2d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 08/05/10 09:40 PM Share Posted 08/05/10 09:40 PM You will usually see this on the ICC everytime you remove the battery. If you have not swapped the ICC, it should go away after you turn the car off then on again. If you did swap the ICC, then you will need to get Ford service to "pair" the ICC to the car. If you change from a low series ICC to a high series ICC it can stop the car from starting.Roby, you will need to tell us if you did anything to the car to create this problem, also the forum Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/64654-icc-security-code-error/#findComment-1006073 Share on other sites

And they appear to be in, but they arent.Since all this information (security codes, tacho, speed, etc, etc) is delivered by the CAN bus, leaving one of the plugs out somewhere along the chain could cause problems. My best guess anyways. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/64654-icc-security-code-error/#findComment-1007272 Share on other sites
