My dealer farted around with mine for a day and stopped it. That was about six months ago and it is now returning. Ive read one way to resolve it is to get a custom setup put on then presto no exhaust rattle

Mine(ute) had a bad vibration in 'D' when stationary, ford told me they were waiting for a fix, :sleepystuff:

Also had centre muffler replaced as it had come apart inside.

does anyone else have a fg turbo with an exhaust rattle when ideling? the dealer says that ford are aware of it and are trying to come up with a fix?

Mine has a minor vibration, stationary, and in 'D', probably the same as 'tig'. Will mention it to the dealer at the 15k service. It's the only issue that I have with the ute. Otherwise, I am extremely happy with the ute.

Mine has the vibration, when stationary, and in "D"

I have had my ute back to Ford on multiple occasions and no fix.

The "We are waiting for a fix" is a polite way of fobbing you off.

I have two issues now that I am still waiting for a fix after 8 Months...

Its enough to make me consider buying a Holden, and that's saying a lot....

Nope - not on my radar at all.

Are you guys talking about the heat shield around the exhaust rattling. If so you can remove them without any side effects at all. I removed mine after a year of stuffing around trying to fix it. 5 years later and no dramas.

Yeah my FG ute has an obvious vibration when idling in "D" too. Kind of sux when you're trying to show off the ute to someone and it just sits there vibrating and shaking. Felt like it was just idling too low.

My old BA exhaust had a very sh*tty fart-in-a-can rattle sound under load too.
