Up to you mate, parents had to make the same desition when they brought the XR8, to decide clubby V XR8 the clubbys styleing and sound of the ford 5.4V8 made them swing fords way but a clubsport at that price is worth considering if you cannot be bothered with a 4-5 month wait on XR6T consider a XR8 an awesome car and arround the same price as a the clubbys 53K as I said if it were me id go the XR8 they sound better and look just as good if not better than Vy Hsv....... happy shopping

Either way you can't go wrong, but the Clubbie is a great buy at that price. Add $1500 on top of the purchase price for a mafless tune and you'll have a 300kw car (if that's what you after).

BTW I can average 13-14 l/100km driving around Canberra, including a reasonable amount of fanging, and around 10 on the highway. Of course 15-20 is certainly possible if you fang it all the time!!

If you decide on the turbo and live in WA and don't want to wait 4 months give me a hoy, the Silverhawk is 4 Sale! :D

I can vouch for this car:

1 owner, drives it only on Sundays to church (in his cardie) and has never had sex in the back seat.

Well, I lied about that last bit, but it's still a good car. :pimp:

Decisions decisions. Make it even harder to decide by considering if you put an APR stage 2 kit on the T (or similar) and a suspension kit!! Still less than the Clubbie and a damn side quicker! Good luck.

How about a Vortech on the clubbie.......just kidding....you need to concentrate.

Clubbie price is good but I would go the new 285kw model as the current 260kw model might devalue a bit more, all good cars though, I would choose clubbie for up to $5k more but for me the "T" was $13k cheaper so no competition, also I think Expensive Daewoo has lost the plot a bit with the styling of the VY, good luck!!

No brainer.

XR6T has Control Blade IRS, fly by wire throttle, EBD, DOHC 24V, DUAL VCT, flat torque curve, SSS, non intrusive TC, better styling..... I could go on and on and on! I Can't Get Enough of This!

Pocket the saving and go for the T. Otherwise check out the XR8!

TURBO6MAN : Not sure if the Clubbie would get in too many laps on th track, as they still appear to be prone power steering pump failures.
