You have to obviously drive both to make an informed decision but my money would be on the HSV. As much as l dont like the front of the HSV much, the rest of it looks the goods and the spec of the car is pretty good, especially at that price. Guest Cosmo Guests Posted 28/09/03 08:23 AM Share Posted 28/09/03 08:23 AM Thanks all for your input.I have driven both; The XR6T as far as I am concerned had more body roll but a smoother drive, seemed a bit more refined.The Clubbie was quicker, less body roll but a rougher ride.I like the V8 the only thing that concerns me is that it is a thirsty beast.I am still deciding, I have never bought a really nice car so this is a big decision for me.I will be leasing the car any paying it off using my car allowance, but I dont do very high K's.Anyhow thanks all...your input has been great. The Clubbie is built to take to the track on Sundays, the XR is an everyday family orientated sports sedan. All comes back to your needs - family car with the ability to have a fang once in a while or an all out sports sedan that can carry a few people if you have to.
