I'd been looking forward to headin down last night for a long time as I cant make the wednesday nite meets due to work, then I go and stuff my neck on thursday morning, went to physio twice to try and fix it up but it was still way too stiff yesterday arvo

anyways how was the night?? was there many there?? any standout cars??

XR6T Drifter, all good mate I was going to come say hello too but as soon as I come back around into staging we had to race again, it went pretty quick, I was nervous on my 1st run but after that its heaps fun but I gave up after my 4th run my car was absolutly sh*thouse, 13.8@102mph than worse and worse every run, 13.9, 14.1, 14.1....running 257rwkw. Not sure what the go was with my car but im pretty pissed off, on every run close to 150-160kph the car just felt like it died, it had nothing, coughing splattering and I was also told by my mate who is an offical there it puffed out abit of black smoke. I'll be taking it on monday to get re-tuned I guess.

Could also not having enough fuel in the tank cause this??

BF_F6Shockwave the night was ok but it closed at 9pm, they started racing pretty early, only standout car for me was the new GAS motorsports BMW by joe signorelli, running a 2JZ it ran 8.1@179mph but I think it was only testing, ive never seen it before then soo should be big things to come out of that.

as for feeling like it was running out up top it definately could have been fuel surge.

how much fuel did you have on board?

if it was less than half a tank id say that is most likely your problem, and your very luck not to have damaged anything..

Ive suffered these symptoms also and fitting a surge tank fixed mine.

oh and yeah I only had 1/4 tank left so I wont be doing that again, make sure shes got some juice next time.

it was so much fun , really hot aswell I had afew mates there racing with me aswell

I raced on my 19 street tyres which didnt help as I couldnt stall it up on the line

the best I ran was a 12.72 @110 mph with 0psi off the line

my best 60 footer was a 2.003 which im happy with considering my tyres lol and ssl springs

worst time was a 13.5 I think after stalling it up and jst spinning I also felt my car wasnt going really well which I think was the heat on the track really

I ran on my street tune which was 315rwkw I felt my car had alot more in it the top end didnt feel strong on the day but on the way home it felt awesome?

next time ill get some decent tyres and stock rear springs and put in the race tune and see how I go

so much fun ill be going again early next year
