$322 is pretty good. I thought they were alot dearer. Will definately be getting an Odyssey one next time. So when is it going to be tuned mate?

Hey Matty,

I got the same battery from a mob in Moorabbin.

Cost me $350 though.

don't mean too burst anybodies battery bubble but the PC925 is too small for a falcon. the cars security system will kill it dead in ten days and the charging system is only capable of replacing the float charge (aprox 20%of the total capacity).

This means you'll get a solid initial crack then it will die off on the second crack.

Deep cycle batts like the PC925 don't support slow drain any better than a lead acid but the recover better.

The PC925 needs about 50amps for an hour too fully charge it. Our cars can't support this.

I went through two before switching too a Optima D51r,slightly larger and higher capacity than the PC925 but handles the load and charge cycle better.

It fits in the nuzpro spot using a modded version of there tray.

Paid $270 for it from battery king in Perth

Hey Danny just wondering is there many modifications to be done to get the FG block into a B series?

a grub screw is required to block off a new water hole on the side of the block. Everything else is the same.

I Also have shat 2 oddyseys batterys, and did have the same concerns hiddeous has mentioned. Unless I was driving the car often enough (which most know I don't), it would go flat, and need a jumpering.

Recently I got a 16amp charger onto the battery... It didn't like it. blew the top off. So much for internally valved..

I then attempted to charge the other optima I had laying around.. that one charged up, although there was a little battery bulging going on, it only lasted for 2 days without driving...

Boot mount time coming with a red top optima I think.. That battery was the bomb.

The 2nd 3 show the battery in position. Its retained with two woven straps similar to the straps provide with most Battery boxes.

The Charge air hose looks close by there is aprox 20mm clearance

Thanks for that Luke! Hopefully I'll be driving my car often enough to keep it charged but if it still fails I might have to follow your path at some stage.

Unfortunatly even if you drive it everyday the alternator will still struggle too maintain a full charge capacity.

If you get 12 too 18 months from the odessy you'l have done exceptionally well :spoton:

Im not sure what nizzy battery I have, but it seems to be fine. I drive my car pretty much just on weekends, have a decent stereo and I havent had much of a problem. It took a while to crank over once, but that's about it. Bought the gear second hand and have had it fitted for a few months.

I've prob gone and jinxed myself..

Hayden, your cars tuff as bro..
