Why get an FG short If you are gonna pull out the oil pump gears, rods and pistons anyway??? Just curious...

Sounds like a beast??? Once the auto is beefed up I'm tipping this will be capable of some great numbers...

Nice work boys...

Anyone know what ended up happening to that Late model camira driver that came out that night we left from the Stamford? LOL the white one... The guy ended up on the front of the herald sun the next day? 177km/h on prinny!!! Can't remember the plates...

Might be because there was a great big f*ck-off hole in the side of the block lol

Whilst the short is pretty much naked, might aswell take advantage lol and put some stronger bits in. Still use the new crank, block and bearings though. Oh and the shorts dont come with an oil pump, its basically just block, crank, rods, pistons, bearings and caps.

Doubt it. As soon as it's ready he'll be tuning it. He's spent too much time on that car just to let it sit around :3gears:

What did the Odyssey baterry cost Hayden? My kit came with the cheaper looking battery aswell. Its been ok for the past 2 years but has recently been protesting on start up if left for a few days. Would hate to be running any sought of stereo off it.

Yeh Matt I spoke to the guy at Extreme Batteries and he told me Nizpro buy their batteries through him and they swapped from the Odyssey to the crappy ones as they were saving $100 each battery. $322 for the PC 925 that Nizpro use to sell.

If I was to do it again I may have got an older taxi block for instance but originally I was only going to put a FG F6 short in it and leave it but ended up doing a bit more while the motor was out but didn't make much difference in the end really. Yeh as James said the auto is already built. Dunno about a white commy but a silver one maybe lol
