It's a red auto with 18s and Premium sound. :licklips: I haven't actually driven an auto tubo before, I test drove a manual one but am getting lazy in my old age and find an auto is less hassle to drive. Not bagging manuals, each to their own I say, whatever floats your boat. I was originally going to get one in Phantom but changed my mind when I saw the red one. Citric Acid is a bit too 'in your face' for me, white was a bit too conserative, didn't like the green, Narooma Blue's not bad, Blueprint is a bit too common now and the charcoal grey has never really appealed to me. Guest Trevor Guests Posted 17/01/03 12:25 AM Share Posted 17/01/03 12:25 AM Congrats dude,Mine also has the premium sound but opted for leather seats too.The auto is great fun and in my opinion just as good as the manual. It gives you both options (casual or RACE).Let us know how you go with it (if you can drag yourself out of the drivers seat this weekend).

Falchoon I see red Member 5,758 Member For: 22y 22d Location: nowhere in particular Posted 17/01/03 03:05 AM Author Share Posted 17/01/03 03:05 AM Well, I have it! How fustrating is this having to come back to work for the afternoon when I would much prefer to be out driving my new toy. The salesman was very polite and courteus to me when I rocked up to pick it up. He explained all the features and how they work to me (never had a car with power windows or cruise before!). He said if there were any problems, any squeaks or rattles just let him or the service manger know and he would get it sorted. As it turned out there is a bit of a problem with the cupholder, it wouldn't close properly. The mechanic came out and had a look and said he couldn't fix it and he would order a new one for me. The other (small) gripe I have is that they missed a few bits when they washed it, or rather didn't chamois it off properly, and there are a few greasy fingerprints on the bonnet. When I was waiting to get the cupholder looked at the salesman was telling me about this "company in Melbourne that gets 450kw from a XR6T"! Mmmmmm....might that comapny be Herrods and might that power just be a bit over 300kw, not 450kw I was thinking, I didn't bother to say anything to the sales guy, didn't want to burst his bubble.I was driving back through Civic (Canberra CBD) and got the big thumbs up and a wishful stare from a guy in a red Perigrine kitted AU XR look alike - made me feel 10ft tall!
