wagnman Member 567 Member For: 15y 5m 2d Posted 06/02/10 06:19 AM Author Share Posted 06/02/10 06:19 AM (edited) Thanks mate!Unfortunately we couldnt get a "before" dyno figure because I had the exhaust fitted at Capalaba (Exhaust Innovations) then drove the car to Powertorque so it would have been a bit risky to do a full power run with the new exhaust fitted but untuned.I presume that it would have made somewhere round the 230 - 240 ish rwkw that most of these FG G6ET and XR6's are pulling std though. To my absolute shock the officer was bloody great and just checked my lisence and warned me to slow down a bit. He then spied the large rims on teh back and decided to check if tehy were out side of acceptable limits but to my relief teh 275 / 30 20's were within his little charts limits for rolling diameter difference over teh std rims so he let me go on my way happily.WHEW. I usually get the book thrown at me when I have anything to do with the law (must have a certain look that they dont like or something) but to be honest this guy was actually really good and I dont think he wanted to fine me for anything just let me know to calm down a bit. Oh yeh embarresingly enought it was one of those Bright red VE SS pursuit cars so I shoulfd have seen him there anyway DOH!Wish there were more like him although I supose the fact that I was in the car on my own adn Im 36 plays a big part. Im sure if I was a backward cap wearing 20 year old with 4 mates in the car it would have been a different story.
