What is traction like with 407kw?

Mate it's actually not to bad.

if you short shift into second and floor it, it will blaze the tyres right through second and into third without even turning the traction control off but if you squeeze the throttle and drive it with the experience that you have gained over the years you find it pretty easy to maintain traction and get good forward drive.

Just put a vid of our race on force ford forums fb page if your on there mate

Awesome mate I'll check it out.

Hey Wagnman,

Great looking car mate! Love the mods so far!

I was just wondering how you coloured coded the grills and grill surround? Did you just buy G6 black grills or did you powdercoat/paint the grills/surrounds?

Love that understated look :spoton:

The grilles, grille surrounds, dog light surrounds and boot garnish are all painted the same silhouette colour as the car. Nearly 4 years old now, the have a few stone chips but hardly noticeable. I'm really happy with how well they have lasted seeing as everyone said it wouldn't last long when I got it don't.

will probably look at a re-spray on the whole car late next year any way as the body work is collecting scratches quickly

Thinking of selling this beast.....

Have spent $1000's and $1000's on mods and am starting to really wonder why with the politicians making more and more stupid rules it doesn't really make sense any more.

Plus I'm bloody keen on a wr450f motard so I'll put up with a cheaper run about to keep the misses of my back (thinking hot hatch, something to thrash that doesn't hit 150kph in just a few seconds). ...

How much do you all think the g6 would go for?

2009 g6et

410rwkw on bp 98 (has never had anything else in the tank)

gtx3582r

1000cc injectors

Procest West surge tank with one 044

Plazmaman 800 hp cooler

Process West race air box

Rapid battery relocation.

Atomic valve Springs

Atomic balancer

Na fg rocker cover garnish

Full custom 3.5 inch turbo back exhaust innovations exhaust

Zf tune

Xr6 lsd

Polly bushed throughout (basically every Bush in superpro)

Teins

6 pot brembos on front

Over hauled rear brakes with project mu pads

Braided lines

Big alpine stereo install from Northfield car sound Mount gravatt

Drop Down dvd with wireless head phones

Satnav

20 / 8.5 and 20 / 10 vertini fassion rims with 245 and 275 federal 595 evo tyres (rims getting tired looking, gutter rash etc)

Fully colour coded body, all Chrome done in body color.

G6 headlights (black surrounds with silver barrels)

Darkest legal tint

The car is a monster on the street when you want it to be yet tame enough for anyone to drive it.

All engine and mechanical mods done by Clinton at profile autosports

Serviced every 5000 k's since new with no expense spared.

How much do you think its worth?

you would get more in the end by returning it back to stock and selling that way.

I just happen to have a mostly stock G6ET also tuned by Clinton who is looking at your mods list thinking 'do want'. I also have a pocket full of cash.

Cheapest for a 09 model is 24k on carsales with 130,000k's

Dearest is 40k but only has 2350k's

One modded there with 440rwhp, asking 34k

You'd probably get 32/33 k as it is IMO If you found the right buyer and werent up for a quick sale (depending on k's). Would probably get the same amount or maybe a grand less by selling it with stock turbo and 320rwkw and then pocket the four or more k you'd get for offloading the other bits and pieces.

In any case, I'm about to blow 5 grand on my car so if your keen to do a deal let me know.

Nope no way will this go back to stock. Would cost loads and don't have all the parts anyway.

Things have changed in the last few weeks and I've had to put off one of my staff at work so I'm now driving the company car I gave him around. Problem solved for now.

I have heard a lot about this car from Clint - hopefully mine will be of similar stature within the month except I'll still have the unlimited slip diff

Just a tiny update.

Finally got some new tail lights to get rid of the super red std g6et rear lights. These smoked ones looks very nice IMHO. :)

They are smoked taillights from MARS performance on ebay. They have a very nice LED stop light which I'll take a pic of when it's dark enough to see well abd they use the std indicator and reverse globes. All up I'm happy with the result. Just need new plates now. I'm thinking slim line in either black with white numbers or black with silver numbers. I'm leaning towards the black /silver at the moment.

What I also think would be cool would be black with profile performance green numbers. (Thanks to Rusty for this idea, Im liking it).

What do you guys think?

They are smoked. Probably about as dark as I'd be comfortable with. I'd hate to end up having a tail ender because my tail lights were to dark

I'll get some photos when it gets dark tonight.
