Awesome work peachypeate82.

Cheers for the feedback on my car too.

An update for me as well here, I was having some occasional missing issues under heavy load in second gear. It was getting frustrating as hell but after some research on here I figured the plugs may have been playing up so it was back to the tuners for their diagnosis and they changed the std plugs over to NGK BKR6E11's gapped to the right gap and she is smokin now with no missing issues at all.

I have changed the stereo after being not happy with teh sound of the clarion setup. Phill at Northfield MacGreggor helped me to no end with selection and instalation of the system that is now fitted and I must say there is no longer any worry about being happy, this thing sounds GREAT! I chose two Alpine R-Type 12 inch subs in a full custom sub enclosure with 6 inch R-Type splite in teh front and 6 inch R-Types in the rear doors too. The system PUMPS nicley now.

I have also fitted one of Rapids polished turbo pipes (replaces the cone shaped part of the intake just of the turbo on FG's) and the spool up sound is very nice, makes driving that little bit more fun.

I have also thrown teh 245 / 30 / 20 and 275 /30/ 20 nankang peice of sh*t tyres in the bin and fitted 245 / 35 / 20 and 285 / 30 /. 20 Falken 452's and I must say these tyres are a million times better than the nankangs. They are quieter and stick to the road like glue. (the extra size on the rear is nice too). I think I'll try to get 295 / 30 / 20's under the rear next as the 285's fit easy.

Sweet as.

Can't wait to get FK452s back on mine... absolutely loved them on the BF2.

so true JohnnyG I am actually amazed as to how much better they are than the nankangs (yeh yeh I know that you get what you pay for and they are way dearer than the nankangs) but from memory the nankangs were even softer than the 452's which would indicate that they have very good dry grip but this was definitely not the case, it just meant they wore out FAST lol

Am so

That poor thing of yours wagnman has been molested more than Dillz, what's next?

You should have learnt a valuable lesson off wagnman by now, it IS possible to make a G6ET look not sh*thouse good if you put a bit of effort in.

Oh wait... beatdeadhorse.gif

Hi mate, do you want to bring the G6 down to Harry's Diner this Friday night and show the beast off?

Gday Karl.

Mate a drive this Friday could be on the cards. Good timing too because I spent this weekend down at the Goldy and we are heading up to Noosa for the whole of next week.

I'll get the Friday night booked.

What time are you heading up there?

Update time........

The turbo is on the way out by the looks of things. Good old FORD build quality hey LOL.

Seriously though you can hear a "ting, ting, ting, ting" sound after you turn the engine off as the turbo is spinning down which does not sound like it will be too long before the thing sh*ts itself good and proper.

The car still drives exactly as it has always done and does not make any strange sounds while driving etc it just does this ting ting ting thing after shut down.

Looks like I'll be looking for a bigger turbo, fuel pump upgrade and tune asap then WHOOT! mmmm 350 - 400 rwkw here we come lol.

Hey KARL! Give me a bell for a planning sesion!
