Was with a mate on the weekend visiting various fpv dealerships around Sydney. Anyway I was told a new F6 is scheduled to launch in June 2010. It will have 321KW, over 600NM. (The GT im told will be 330KW). Orders taken in June with first delivery from August onwards.

Anyway else heard anything about the new F6? That torque of over 600NM should be a cracker!!!

I'll be pissed if they do and probably trading in..! I would have thought the new F6 would just have some subtle cosmetic changes and I was hoping the return of the guage pod's on the dash...! In saying that it wouldnt take much to crunch out a few extra KW & NM from the F6.. I heard the current block didnt comply with the new emmissions trading reg and a new one had to be developed... any truth to that?

I also heard FPV were looking to release a 351 kw GT which was going to be relaunched as a GT-HO to end all these games with HSV, but the rumoured release date was a litle way off.

Havent heard about a 321kw F6. No need I reckon since the current model is great. But I do agree with 310_FSX that it does need some touch up's including guage pod's on the dash which be a great little feature or tradition.

Mate told me about the GT-HO with 351kw. Last I heard of was Ford or FPV Canned it. But I reckon FPV Will start concentrating on there v8's and the coyote engine's from now on.

Here's something about a S/C FPV V8 GT for 2010 from car

advice.

I thought Motor mag had this scoop about 4 to 6 months ago.

Would be nice to get a propper fully designed V8 instead of the one from the parts bin that they supply now.

Like the F6E, Fraud will only put it out if there is enough demand from the punters. Which is so sad for us. I guess it will depend on where the fuel prices go.

For mine I would like to see 30 to 50kg taken from the bottom end of the great 6. New casings and crank. MMM MMM MMM

Forget crap like gauge pods, real improvements are needed like beefier ZF, paddle shift, more differentiation from the standard Fords, better brakes, seats, suspension (current offering is crap) less weight. I assume if they get 600Nm from the F6, the ZF will be an updated version; they have one that can handle 650Nm.
