Id say it should be right now man. If its not too much trouble to go back to the tuner that's cool get them to have a look. But yeah any of the walbro in tanks are the same I dont know about the bosch ones though.

would a surge tank fix that, or would I just have to keep the fuel level above 1/4 tank?? I rang the tuner today so all is good just to make sure. another thing was when my brother drove it before I took it to WSID it was pinging at high revvs, would this too be cause of the fuel used?

Hmmm I havent had any dramas yet but my tuner told me to use the BP as that is what gives them the most power. He also said if I ever get a ping drop in some octane boost as its prob just some lower quality or older fuel. I dont know about the surge tank on the walbro although with bosch pumps they are used in conjunction. I just dont give her full bickies under a quarter. Or if im itching for it ill just fill up.

After many months of research the forum sais yes! Im not even going to risk it! Tuner told me as well before I even turned the key! im not sure about the standard pump though

yeahh seen on the news sometimes here, that some servos when they run out of premium they put in regular unleaded and sell it for premium prices. well im not going to get charged at the tuners tomorrow cause we're just going to see if things are ok, if I know that it was fuel starvation that was causing the problem ill have to get back out the WSID I guess. As for the pump wouldnt it be ok to use the walbro intank pump an external bosch pump with the surge tank?

yeah that's why I dont listen to tunes when im booting around as just in case it pings I wanna hear it. Dodgy bastards ripping us off with regular! As u may have noticed from my dramas with my pump im no expert on fuel systems but just going of gathered info atm. Have a search through the fuel topics im sure there is a heap of info if u got the time to have a good look. Def head back out man im not going to run again for a while till mid next year.

on 1 of the runs when I went 14.1, I had:

R/T... .337

60'... 2.277

330... 5.985

quickest takeoff but by the 1/8 marker it went pretty bad

My first couple of runs were 13.290 and 13.294 and when it was stock I did 2 runs and got a 14.1 so man I cant see why you shouldnt get some low 13's but its just practice im just learning but starting to find out there is a lot to get right as the power goes up and street tires make it fun too. I wish I had some more $$$ and then id keep going back but cant afford to kill my auto hahahaha. But damm its addictive hey! They are real slugs off the line as I cant leave on full boost but good terminal speeds
