just got my ute back! very happy with its new power :buttrock:

its tuned to 287rwkw and 725nm of torque on 12psi

was told it could of made over 300kw but the stock clutch

started to slip so it was back down to 287kw

next on the to do list is a mal wood clutch and the a re-tune and I should see 300+

An update to the weekends drama!!! Alright firstly done the injectors myself no drama at all, cat was modified friday night. As for the fuel pump what a pain in the arse! Had a mate start on it but had to go half way through. So I attented to shortening the hoses to make the pump sit in right about 3 times!!! Put it all back together and done. Topped up 20 litres of fuel for the tune this morn via a jerry can. Car got tuned and made a healthy 277rwkw @11psi, the valve springs did hold me bak alot but I kinda new they would. I took the car to the servo to fill her up and noticed fuel pouring all over the ground so took her home (just) and noticed only at this point that the rubber gasket wasnt anywhere to be seen. So out with the pump again and dive into the now half full tank to find it at the bottom. All sorted now but holy sh*t if if u get someone doing a job get them to finish it themselves! We had had a couple of beers by this time so sh*t happens just glad it didnt explode! Just wanted to say thanks to Lee @ RDP in Brisbane for being nice enough to loan me a car for the day and being so helpful!

spewing about the fuel pump bud! least its all soughted now!

I had no dramas at all, rob said the ute just wanted to keep making power

he didnt say any thing about the valve springs, but im not sure if the bf mark1

have better springs than the ba? I also have my center muffler removed so that

helps with the back pressure. you should try removing your if u havent already?

should only cost $80 max to do. cant wait for some runs 2 haha

gotta get a clutch now :(

Heres the dyno sheet! Pump was a learning curve that's for sure hahahaha. Centre muffler was removed by previous owner so yeah it sounds like a truck should have done the rear! Pot luck on the valve springs! There are next on the list!!! Damm I love my car again all over!!!

I had the exact same thing happen to me(very embarassing watching half a tank of 100ron premium fuel @$1.49/L spill onto the ground at the servo. When they found the rubber seal and tried to put it back they found it had expanded and then had to order me a new one from Ford. On top of the when I first got the car it wouldnt start in front of their shop. Seems the dodgy hose that came with the walbro pumps had come off and split. So they replaced it with a gates submerisable. All this service and all they charged to actually change the pump was $80 lol. I think they would have lost money just on replacemnt parts alone
