Have just had a read through some of the articles that have been posted and it seems to be very informative.

I find it funny that everyone refers to the G6ET as grandpa transporters, cause literally that's what I do. I had a few options before I bought this car and one of them, was, the Last Fairlane Ghias or a G220 (As you can probably guess by now I own and run a Prestige Taxi) But when I looked into the G6ET it was everything that I wanted and needed in a car, Comfort for the passengers and power for me. So when I ordered the car the options that I wanted where, Sat Nav, Sunroof and I had the interior change from black to Caramel (not sure at the moment if that was a good idea though) with the colour change of the interior, what I had to do was change the carpet from caramel to black, as you could imagine, it wouldnt of taken much in time for it to change to black by itself, being a Cab,lol,(just joking)and it blends in great with the interior of the car, another thing that the spare parts bloke told me about was with the boot mat, what he suggested was to remove the old space saver tyre, fit one of the original wheels that the car came with(I have 19s on it now)and to fit another black boot mat out of another G series,I have done that and it fits well. Once we got the car from the dealer I had the windows tinted moulded mudflaps fitted and a set of 19s supplied by Ozzy Tyres Brisbane (19x8.5 Front and 19x9.5 Rear) the only thing though, I would like to lower it a bit more, but I wouldnt like to lose the comfort for the Oldies and me, the other thing, I would like it to go harder, I have spoken with cappa and they said that they havent got a full package yet for the G6ET so any info on the ride hight and the performance gear would be much appreciated, Im trying to get some photos of the cab and when I do, I will put it with my profile(no one wants to look at a dirty old taxi,im sure).

haha awesome. Discounts for forum members? :dontknow:

Underneath they are pretty much the same as the XR6T so any modifications that suit the FG XR will be right for you. Have a poke around the advertisers on here to give you an idea of what's available - the only real limitation is your wallet!

Congrats and welcome Cabbie. Should be quite a few power mods around now. But the G6ET is blistering quick out of the box already. Caradvice.com.au (http://www.caradvice.com.au/44132/2009-large-car-comparison) clocked their newish G6ET at 4.97s for 0-100km sprint and 13.25s for the qtr.

Those times are too quick for most grandpa's!!!
