I know it's only Jan. but Ford will have a run out sale in may/june for the new 2010 models. The magna wont depreciate any more.

If it's a company car you will only be able to write off 5 months or less of it in the first year too. Not good.

I know of an imaculate 2nd hand FG for $38,500 private sale.

Spoke to someone working at Ford(engineer) on the w/end, no new model out in 2010 my friends. He was well aware of the new V8s but mentioned that FPV were the only ones "playing with them".

Didn't get long to discuss but, if the new euro emission regulations mean Ford can't build any more 5.4 dinosours, where does it leave the XR8 post June? Is Ford allowed to continue producing or not? I wish I'd asked this but didn't. I wouldn't expect any significant changes to the FG before the 4cyl turbo comes out in 2011 though, if any.

Was in Knox Ford today having a look.

They have registered a heap of 2009 demos that are not being driven.

I am looking at either a silver with black G6E Turbo for $46,707 drive away, a seduce with cashmere and 19s for $48,514 drive away

or a Nitro blue XR6T auto with tech pack for $40,507 drive away. All cars have done around 150 klms.

Spoke to a guy there called Greg Russell who was good to deal with.

Waiting on work to confirm car allowance.
