Put down deposit today on a demo 2008 October FG XR6T. 8000kms with leather, premium sound, reverse sensors, reverse camera, floor mats. Got it for $40k. I guess it was ok deal since its a demo and got all the options. Pick up tomorrow cant wait. =)

Also curtin airbags which I think was an option as well. Overall a fully optioned car except sat nav. Had it for 2 days now still shiny. =) Also just still getting use to the FG manual. They surely could give you a few more coins for that rig, its in good cond. They gave us 9K for Jade's barina, when initially they only offered 7. But admittantly im a real *beep* when it comes to dealing.... and everything else for that matter.Id be guessing the mid 40's, around 45 Mcdrive away is a good price? that's just me working on the fact that old mate earlier got a ex demo with good options for 40K. Thought $6,500 was very ordinary.Red book was 8,000 to 10,000 trade price. Will the trade info be passed onto other dealers?Dealer delivery.. It was around $1,800 "Its to put it on the lot clean it and do its final inspection" I smell bull sh!t... So what, it cost them that much to put it on the truck take it off and wash it?? Dont think soSo around 45k for the options im after hey, less my trade = Happy robbo??Wheres that other Mod when ya need him? Thanks in advance... Are you buying off the lot (most likely an 09 build) or is it a custom order thingame? If the former you'd have more chance of getting the right price.I reckon aim for a $40k changover price and let them fudge the figures however it suits them for GST etc. Tell them $38k and you'll be there with the cheque book, then they laugh and tell you to get real, then do them a favour and go up towards the $40KAll depends on how much of a Mick you want to be.
