It just compliments the interior so much better. On the other hand, $40k for a sedan, regardless with or without options is a steal, especially if it's new.I got mine for a nudge over $45k, it's an 08 build, but was an ex-demo with 3k on the clock. Premium Sound, Reverse Camera, Reverse Senses, Technology Pack (bluetooth & ipod integration), XR Floor mats ($160 if bought seperately, asked to include new ones with the price), Side airbags and extended warranty. They wanted over $56k for it. Very happy with it, and I must say was the biggest bargain in this side of Australia (that I know of). Every other Northern Territory dealer I called wanted $50k+ with at least Premium Sound on a new factory built car.My best bet for you is to look for one that you like on-the-lot. This way, you can negociate them way down, because they want to get rid of it. If you're looking for a new-factory-built car, then you won't be able to haggle the price to something reasonable.Good luck! Take em for everything they got I also was quoted around 60k on road for a brand new f6 with the discount and 44k for a g6et not optioned but with the brembo's, leather interior, zf and sat nav the f6 came to b e in the 70k mark pretty good considering some of you guys paid close to 55k for a manual xr6t.Try using the discount even if you don't have it I ordered my f6 a few months ago and they were not building any till mid jan (which didn't bother me 2010 model always better) but recently changed my order to a xr6t as the money I will be saving and the money I already have would be better spent on the xr6t and they still haven't asked for proof of the discount and have written up the quote and will be building next year. Im sure they will hit me up for it but if they went this far with out and you didn't have it im sure they would let the few grand slide instead of turning you back and not making any money and having another car in there yard trying to sell.. They will hit you up for the paperwork regarding staff discount. It is never required until final payment/pickup... just to warn you. Why would you lie about it though... strange??? Knowing dealers like I do, good luck in expecting the discount... they'll sell your car off the lot no problem.
