I have attached the file as well.Closest one to Dayspring is Showground Rd and Victoria Rd.Theres also one at the Baulkham Hills intersection 7hills rd and Windsor rd.You may want to pass the word around. They are identifiable by their new sign: “Safety Camera” Unfortunately, by the time you see the sign it will be too late to slow down. They do not give warning like normal fixed speed cameras.Safety camera FAQsThis is for Sydney BTWsafety_camera_locations.pdf

The majority will be red light cameras only. There will be 4 that double up as speed cameras, these 4 the RTA will disclose. There will be another 5 that are rotated at 25 different interesections so you never know where they are. A lot of the ones that are announced for the CBD area don't exist so I guess they will roll them out over the coming months. It's a matter of time before they convert all of them to speed/red light cameras. Can't wait to vote against labor next election, they're way too concerned with getting our money rather than getting on with their jobs. Melbourne and Perth sh*t all over our roads in terms of quality and safety. They should be focused on providing roads that are on par with the rest of the developed world instead of figuring out ways to get their hands in our pockets. The sign will have the text “SAFETY CAMERA AHEAD”, explaining that the main function of the new cameras is to improve the safety of the intersection – by reducing crashes caused by speeding and drivers running red-lights.I love this part...So has the law changed in regards to speed camera signs or something? I completely support the red light cameras but speed cameras with no signs are rubbish, if the point was to slow someone down through a particularly dangerous intersection then you put a sign up.Will they say where the combo cameras are?In regards to cyclists, I saw one the other day balancing on a cab because he couldn't be f*cked putting he's foot down, if it was me I'd do my best to run him down. I completely support the red light cameras but speed cameras with no signs are rubbish, if the point was to slow someone down through a particularly dangerous intersection then you put a sign up.Will they say where the combo cameras are?Yes the roads minister tried to introduce mobile speed cameras earlier this year, ones that are hidden and I think rotated? He backed down mainly because of opposition from the NRMA. So they waited for a particularly bad weekend where there were 4-5 deaths in NSW on the roads then quickly introduced these instead. I guess by labeling them as 'Safety' cameras they can bypass the normal speed camera rule of having to have 3 signs shown prior. To make their point, they released graphics images to the media (taken by Red Light Cameras) that showed accidents occurring at intersections (Cars slamming into other cars and bicycles etc). What no one seemed to mention though was these images prove how inept the cameras are, since the vehicle at fault obviously saw the 'RED LIGHT CAMERA AHEAD' sign and still drove through!! I'm all for driver safety and lowering the road toll, which is why this sh*ts me so much. By the Government's own findings the majority of deaths on the roads are NOT due to negligent driving but because of the condition of the roads! This amounts to 50% of road deaths. Red light cameras/Speed cameras = Revenue... Fact! Based on their own conclusions reached in the national road safety strategy.
