st3lthxr6t Silver Donating Members 44 Member For: 18y 8m 5d Gender: Male Location: Moonta, SA Posted 27/11/09 12:52 AM Share Posted 27/11/09 12:52 AM Hey was just wondering if anyone has had this before, since a quick engine wash the thing wont idle smoothly or rev past 2000rpm, only just limped it back the the shop. its throwing tps codes but all power and references signals seem to read ok. have checked all connectors for moisture and all ok. seems to be in a limp mode and cause of the rough running is from running mega lean. still going through the manual now but I thought I'd put this up for some more help, any help would be great! Just make sure its reasonably cool (alloy head!) and dont aim the washer at the coil packs/alternator/fuse box/computer for any length of time. I usually let mine cool with the bonnet up for a bit, then wash the entire bay and wash the rest of the car while it dries, never had a problem.
