hi about to change my ute for new one and am considering the colour ego, just wondering how this colour looks after a couple of years (fine scatches etc.) is it hard to live with?

It shows up scratches pretty bad, but they are easily fixed.

Before you take delivery check out the paint work very well. If you are buying an FG you wont get any clear in the engine bay and Ego has metalflake in the clear so its a diferent colour. Mine is Nitro on the outer panels and plain bionic on the inner panels. And it really makes it look so F&cking cheap. But Ford seems to think that is ok.

Also orange peel, I hope you like it. Cause it comes std and its not optional. And its in the base coat, 1st coat and the clear. You can get it out of the clear, but that does not help much.

Have had the Ego FG for 12 months now and agree with the previous post re the finish and engine bay etc. It is the best colour Fraud have IMHO. It changes depending on the light with the green and purple fleck showing well in the sun and it looks black at night; schizo might have been a better name than ego! I have some small swirls in the clear coat but these will polish out easy. Overall I'm happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking at the current range of colours available. GFI.
