If so datalogging is an absolute must, so make sure you build this into the cost. I have seen some issues with trying to connect to BA pcm's with HP....but not sure if this is common or just an issue with the particular tuners software etc, amybe follwo this up first with HP just to be sure. Also there's a mangitude of things you can do with a tune...sneaky tricks etc, so keep in mind what support you're going to get as well as this will speed up the learning process. Pretty sure it has access to all the usual tables but I'm nowhere near an expert, so my suggestion is to give them a call if you have questions (details in my signature - speak to Chris). They're near Liverpool, and not too far from where you are.As IH8TOADS already mentioned, we did encounter an issue with the software connecting with the PCM - at the time the software was in beta but even so, they release regular updates (every 1-2 weeks) so it was quickly sorted after being reported. millers Member 113 Member For: 16y 7m 3d Posted 23/11/09 01:57 PM Share Posted 23/11/09 01:57 PM the software is still beta but most issues you may have should get fixed quickly. support on the HP Tuners forums seems pretty good too.I dont have my car tuned with it (getting towards 12 months since I bought it and I still cant use it properly...) because of the issues mentioned above with the BA PCM. if you have a BA and the car has ever been reflashed by ford then chances are its not gunna work for you. if you are planning on buying it yourself then try find someone in your area with it just to test first. im not a tuner but from having a look through the program everything you should need seems to be there. if there is something specific your after let me know and ill check

Did you buy from HP or VCM in Aust? and have they been able to sort out your issues? Reason I ask is that If I buy it locally you get charged a premium for support.hey turbo4lt been using it for myself for a while on a ba falcon and a few others absolutly love it !seems everything you will ever need is there and found the support is great , regular updates etc. go for it !Thanks, Did you purchase it from VCM in Aus or HP in US? Not sure if the extra $200 for the local support is worth it.

millers Member 113 Member For: 16y 7m 3d Posted 24/11/09 12:42 PM Share Posted 24/11/09 12:42 PM I bought from HP Tuners instead of the AU distributer. support is generally great, just had a bit of lag due to the different time zones (I assume anything that needs to be looked at by their engineers would have to wait for their business hours anyway though)my issue with the BA PCM is mostly sorted. HP Tuners have done a lot of messing around changing stuff around in the tunes files to get something that half works for me. now I just need to get the ICC reset so I can use the new PCM I have licenced and ill be all set. for now I have all the security stuff in the PCM turned off so I can start the car and drive it with the new PCM, I just get 'security code error' on the ICC
