Would I be correct to assume that if I fitted the Sat Nav for $3000 that this would give me additional AV inputs? If this is the case would I then be able to plug in my own DVD player or XBOX etc instead of the blau system? What is the resolution of the Ford screen and how many colours does it have? Is the Satnav DVD based? Thanks.Cheers,Chris.

Guest Isher Guests Posted 01/10/03 02:20 AM Share Posted 01/10/03 02:20 AM Well, I've been checking this post of and on for a while now and I would never have guessed that my post would have generated so much interest. The Blaupoint DVD/GPS/MP3 thingy is a good idear, but I regret it appears beyond my budget. It also fails to provide the TV tuner capability which is what I am most interested in. I would have thought that it would be possible to get a stand-alone TV tuner capability for less than $500. I guess that this is unlikrly.I supose to answer my original post: Yes a TV tuner is posible, but just has not been developed yet and probably wont be for a while as teh companies seam more concerned with aftermarket GPS and DVD.Regards,Isher

Guest Mercury Guests Posted 01/10/03 06:19 AM Share Posted 01/10/03 06:19 AM Are there any Plonky type rules regarding the TV/DVD being visible by the driver, eg only on the front screen when the car is stationary ?
