the stock dump pipe dont have a seperate pipe like that difillipo one does it? so we would have to get some sort of adaptor plate made that will seperate the back of the turbo to the internal gate?

I have not heard an internal gate screamer that sounds good...and I'm an avid lover of gate.

I personally wouldn't even bother with an external/screamer on the stock turbo either, it wouldn't stay on there for long since stock turbo + big motor = you're on boost and making the deafening sound WAY to often for daily/even weekend only use.

Not saying it can't be done mate, just with the nature of these engines IMO it wouldn't be suitable. Full boost well under 3,000RPM is a little different to a ricer that's still in vacuum at that point.

Is this a DIY thing or do u have to take it to exhaust shop or jap proformance shop to do it????

how much should of cost??? ill post a video once I get it done.. should be this week or next week..

so decided to go external gate, as I live in brisbane I was just wondering which performance shops people seem to recommend ( in brisbane, gold coast area ? ) rough cost estimate ? what exactly needs to be done ? cheers people
