thomasmurray1 Member 26 Member For: 17y 3m 15d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 17/11/09 10:35 AM Share Posted 17/11/09 10:35 AM just been running around with my gt35 fitted up, dummied it up, withno water lines(yet to be made) got kinda carried away and drove around for good hour or so. came home and have noticed that the turbo is very noisy when the car is turned off, also the it wont spin over and nicely as it used to feels alot rougher.still sh*t all shaft play and no in-out shaft play, just wondering what damage iv done hopefully I have just shat a brand new turbo!still boosting up fine and making great power no contact or damage to compressor wheel or anything, hopeing I havent melted my bearing packs or something due to lack of water cooling? The amount of oil that runs through them for lubrication is only very small and is not enough to cool the cartridge, only lubricate it. Get the turbo off and have it pulled down to see what condition the bearing race is in, DO NOT DRIVE IT BEFORE YOU GET THIS CHECKED OR YOU GET YOUR WATER LINES Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
