Go the KISS army. I must admit, it's the only 'MAJOR' band I've seen 3 times. The first being their unmasked "Hot in the Shade" tour. Oh Yeah, went off. 6th row, caught Eric Singer's drumstick, plectrums from Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.....COOL. Had to fight to keep that drumstick.

Lol....I came that close to ordering a Paul Stanley Ibanez Iceman guitat that night.......pfffft. Only a couple of grand....

Seen Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Suicidal Tendencies, Anthrax, etc...etc. All probably 2 times each, a vast collection from other gigs over the ages as well. Man if only I knew how to save in my youth hey, I'd be driving a GT...lol. :bouncey:

Kiss Symphony is AWESOME, however I was a bit dissapointed in the guitar sound......too modern.

I was hoping for a bit more crunch and sustain instead of the overdriven scooped sound.

Tommy Thayer does a pretty good job filling in for Ace. As much as I adore Ace, I just wish playing the guitar was more important than booze and drugs!

Just ordered the DVD of Kiss with the MSO. any one seen it and have I done my money??

Mmmm, saw a recording that a mate got off "Main Event" (FOXTEL) on video, I loved it. Yes, Tom Thayer, (That's his name, hmmm), did do an excellent job, he was hitting the correct notes from the word "go", something Ace hasn't done in a long time  ... I'd get the DVD for sure.....hmmmm, more money.

Food for thought...

The Boss is the best

September 25, 2003 - 11:17AM

Bruce Springsteen's seminal 1975 album Born to Run has been voted the best album of all time in Zagat Survey's first Music Guide.

The Beatles' Abbey Road and Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band took second and third place while U2's Joshua Tree picked up the fourth spot.

The Beatles The White Album was fifth, followed by Miles Davis' A Kind of Blue and Springsteen's Darkness on the Edge of Town.

The Beatles featured again at No 8 with Revolver, followed by Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and U2's Achtung Baby.

Zagat, known for its guides to restaurants and hotels, surveyed more than 10,000 people to compile its list.

Forgot to mention one of the most influential bands ever to grace this big old world.........

SPINAL TAP

Surely the most funny rock movie EVER. The best jokes are the most subtle, and mainly picked up by those that have played in bands, which isn't to say that non musos wouldn't find it a scream.

........yeah.....but this one goes to eleven...... :longlaugh::huh:
