They supposedly splitinside and coolent gets into the tranny and you end up with an expensive repair bill.I've had an external cooler fitted, but my transmission guy recomended to still run the original cooler in the radiator as well.I dont think this will help. Will an after market cooler be sufficient on it;s own? Got a long trip coming up at Christmas and I want to make sure it will be fine. Any suggestions? The radiators seem to have a problem after that. Regardless of what I've been told though,I am going to still run the cooler on it's own because it is a fairly good size.I'd still like to know if anyone has heard of this problem or it's happened to them.
