Why? If anything you would want a noisy surge tank as far away as possible, you could also sound proof the boot if you want.

044 and surge really isn't that noisy. Mine is mounted in the engine bay and the gearbox makes way more noise haha. Can show you if you come out tonight.

Although some of the boot setups look sexy I'd prefer it outside. Risk of problems is too high for me.

The Plazmaman unit I have is great. No noise from inside and a nice sound ( I like it) from outside. Can't wait to fit a second pump.

If your car ends up in a fire or a smash and your insurance assessor sees it in the boot how are you going to prove it wasn't functioning at the time of the incident.

I have quick fit push pull fittings so my lines are never attached unless iam using it I also take the cables off the 044 and also pull the fuse so its 100% not useable/powered

as I said mines on that carpeted mdf board so I take it out when not using it sometimes I get lazy and leave it there though but no biggy

I want the best of both worlds from my car and have done it on the best budget period not because iam a tight ass that's another story but just to prove u dont need to bend over to anyone flogging half a mortguage deposit to get ya car to move well.

said it once and ill say it again best bang for buck right here

I spoke to my tuner about putting it in the boot. The pressure to the motor wouldn't be different, the noise would be a pain in the a$$ but that doesn't really worry me. It's the legalities of having it in the boot and If you get hit hard in the back you could possibly have raw fuel leaking out.

The same setup can be done under the car. There is a lot of room under the car behind the rear passenger wheel for the setup.

bud id be very careful adding any aftermarket fuel system to a engineered car period if your worried about a boot mount id be worried about any install get it listed on the insurance period because if they want to play funny buggers they can knock u back period dont want to find out the hard way
