Good to see she is all sorted.. Hope it keeps you happy now. Got my FG in for much the same mods apart from the turbo of coarse as I want to keep it to low-mid 300s while the engine/car is still so fresh (less than 3k).

One question though, do you feel much difference on the street from the mid 300s to the tune you currently have? I ask because I feel 400rwkw for a street car is too much to live with everyday but that's assuming there is a large difference between say 340 and 400.

Any info would be great mate.

400 is huge different imo

it's also quite stronger threw rev range as its picked up power all the way threw. despite being more responsive from the line with the well ported exhaust housing.

the car doesnt get booted everyday, monday to friday gets 14km per day of sedate driving.

id say the most action it gets is on the weekend.

I think if you compare ba/bf 400kw and fg 400kw the fg will be more responsive which may be combination of shorter piping, higher compression ratio(xr6t only), plenum design, cylinder head etc etc even though I have cut out the smaller compressor wheel which was optioned from factory, the difference was not noticable upgrading to fg f6 wheel apart from heaps more mid/top range

To add to the answer to Wingnut's question, I didnt find much of a difference in going from 347 to 400+ in daily driving. I also drive my car to work every day. But its easy to keep it off boost and the ZF is still super smooth. Theres another forum member whose aiming for high 300's in his FG F6 and will be using the car to take out his customers in.

nice graph dj. got one with the boost levels, keen to see how quick yours is spooling compared to a bf

have you already got a PW single 044 surge tank setup? is this running out of fuel at 405rwkw? is that the reason for the fuel tube or do you just want the new/latest shiney stuff like you did with the v2 cooler kit?

Same as the Version 1 Stage 2 cooler wasnt running out of puff! Mine certainly isnt.

If it was running out of fuel Simon would have simply thrown another 044 at it.

I would rather be safe then sorry, ill probably do valve springs as well.

probably will extract more power with the fuel tube, without running out of fuel.

pretty sure turbo will run out before anything else.

Based on that graph, I'd say it peaks at ~3500rpm at ~17psi and tapers back and flattens off to ~15psi. Torque curve near on mirrors boost, so torque will give a good idea of spool rate.
