If so what was the difference? Yeah, I did compare them, I think roughly it was going to cost "me" about $3.5k. Pads weigh in at about $1k, but that really never bothered me.I like to be different, if I put brembo's on it, everyone would have said "oh, he's just put GT-P brakes on it"But now, hopefully everyone says "whoa nellie, AP brakes"Thanks to everyone for the comments, especially Cro, I know how hard it was for you to say you like my wheels!

Guest Mr Walker Guests Posted 24/09/03 05:20 AM Share Posted 24/09/03 05:20 AM The only problem with some of these 'race' calipers is that they don't have external seals like a 'street' caliper and therefore need to be removed and cleaned more often. I believe the Brembo's and street Harrops that were available on HSV's had these external seals making them pretty much maintenance free. Are these AP's the same as on the HSV GTS and do they have seals - they don't appear to.

Also, the stock rotors were removed to make way for DBA 1 piece 330mm grooved rotors. Not quite as impressive looking as the AP on the front, but not near as expensive as the fronts either!! Will post pictures if anybody want me to.
