If it has been sealed it should be relatively ok, maybe just put a few drops of engine oil down the oil inlet and rotate the compressor slowly - this may free up and dirt and grime inside... Give it a spine and listen for any grinding. Unless the housings are at the right angles for the manifold and pipe work you will have to undo the bolts and shift the housing.
