Guys think im being rolled on warranty,

Im putting the car in for a few warranty jobs next wednesday, one issue I have started to have in the heat is that the front drivers window when going down makes a rubbing/squeeling sound when it hits a certain point. Obviously its just somehthing rubbing on it, but over time will will prob scratch the window and it annoys me every time I wind it down.

spoke for my ford dealer, they are replacing a few parts with no issues but they says its wear and tear, not covered by warranty.

Im reckon I already know the answer but I think they should fix the issue, am I right? Sure there is not too much work in pulling the door skin off for a bit of a look see but it all comes down to why I have a warranty at all!

told you all its was a stupid quesiton... sorry!

There's no stupid questions on here. They should be fixing it under warranty. This issue should surely be easy to fix. If you have issues and can't get love from your dealer then call 13FORD and explain your dramas.

They will fix it by spraying some silicone spray on the windows runners.

It is common with cars that are outside or washed alot to have this problem.

Go easy on yourself man... nothing stupid about asking questions.

Silicone spray is all they will do, then probably cahrge you for a whole can of the stuff and 1 hour labour. IT should be a warranty item though, check with another dealer or 13 Ford.
