:roflmbo:

Might have to try and get mine disabled next time I'm in, was driving a pregnant chick around the other day (can't wear seatbelt) and the friggin chime was doing my head in. Drivers alarm is bad enough but now the cart smunts have whacked an arse-switch in the passenger seat it's twice as annoying. :stirthepot:

This procedure works on the BA (I have tried it), have not tried it on the BF or FG. Worth a go however, the system is far more integrated now so I suspect it to be a totally different setup.

1) Buckle the seatbelt

2) Turn the Ignition switch to the On position, without starting the engine.

3) Press and hold the Hazard Switch

4) Whilst the Hazard switch is depressed, Unbuckle, then buckle the seatbelt

5) Release the Hazard light switch

I do not condone driving without a seatbelt, they save lives. However, very few people die at 5kph driving into and out of their garage. The can however be driven mad by that damn chime.

can you turn the chime back on?
