Its actually a touch tougher in NSW with an automatic suspension until the court date and upon conviction a mandatory 2 year disqualification is imposed. And the confiscation of your car is about the only thing you got right.

Im sure someones hotted up 1970 gemini will soon be pulling us all up as the real reason you say is to source unmarked cars. Now get real and go back to sleep!

Using confiscated cars for anything would have to be illegal, and if it wasn't it would be a legal headache. People would be suing for blown engines, wrecked components, damaged bodykits, resprays etc.. and rightly so. If a car has been forfeited then I can see the police taking ownership but that would be a different story.

Im basing this 'assumption' on the fact a mate of mine had his ss ute confiscated last year and he reckons he got pulled over by HIS UTE about 6 weeks later.. They were cops, and they'd put P plates on it too.. Also a bunch of my friends into the skyline scene swear that's what they're doing these days..

Relax...

I made an assumption, rightly or wrongly..

ffs.

Thanks for that professor...

Now take try taking some of that self-righteousness out of your answer next time and you wont come off as being such a tool.

If I wanted to waste my time looking up the specifics I would have... You're not the only one with access to Google you genius.

There's always one person in every forum who's gotta respond a bit too seriously isn't there...

According to the write up from the poster, this was at a weekly meet in Brisbane somewhere. The utes driver just stayed in the car, everyone clocked him and thought it was weird. Then someone peeled away and lit up the rears and on came the custom lights.

IB not having a crack but it just seems these are the only threads I see you in now days.

Why bother, we all know there are good cops and bad cops as much as we all know these threads will continue popping up.
