Seeing as 888 have no Ford support, I see no reason for them not to win the title this year. Wincups 2 wins last weekend kinda dispels the theory.

Did anyone see that Dumbrell has signed with FPR next year? He will be driving a Bottle-O sponsored car.

Dont know if any truth in it, but heard a rumour that

Ambrose was coming back to Ford to drive a FPR car.

Anyone else heard anything of it or is it just someones wishful thinking.

I tend to think that wishful thinking it is. Ambrose has been reasonably successful this year, and the money on offer in oval racing is not comparable to V8 supercars, Cheers.

I'm sure the stewards would have been flocking to the tyre like flies on hot sh*t. And I cannot for the life of me see Lowndes do something like that.

Stone is disappointed that a mooted deal for former V8 champ turned NASCAR driver Marcos Ambrose to race in the Sydney Telstra 500 in December with SBR has fallen over due to the unavailability of a franchise.
