Haha Ben, I've tried, whats the go? Foot on break and accelerate away?

Yep that's about it, turn T/C off (if you have it) just don't do it all the time, the trans will not thank you for it.

Wish mine was manual Mastika, I just never had a manual car to practice in, but from my understanding the tiptonics are just as good?

Hmm not so easy in the auto's as you don't have a clutch to suddenly get the wheels spinning. Depending on the surface mine won't normally do it when its dry, if wet its easy though. Having said that I just did it 'cause I was curious. I don't do it now as it's not worth the money if you get get caught, break something or have to spend money on tyres all the time....take it easy and enjoy the car.

One thing to keep in mind if you are changing the suspension is your insurance. I am insured to drive a Turbo but if I change the suspension then they boot me from the policy.

I think these cars look really good with nice wheels on the stock ride height. Having the top of your wheels up under your wheel arch is a terrible look, its in my bag of pet hates along with chev badged holdens.

If you are planning on upgrading to a turbo once you get your full licence be careful what mods you do as many mods actually make your car worth less then it would be stock. Wheels and a head unit are good additions. If you want more performance I would just go for the tner as you can keep it for you next car. If you get an exaust maybe look into getting one that you will keep to use on your T when you get it.

I am sure you will enjoy the car, it is a very powerful car to start on anyway and should be heaps of fun.

Thanks guys for the input. Dont think I will be going with any performance mods now as I should just wait and upgrade once im on my opens.

That's probably the best idea ;)

I'm also in the same boat. Just gonna wait till I'm off my Ps completely and pickup a T.

I dont have much understanding on cars yet, I was more into boats till I got my licence, so all the hi cat flow/dump pipe/headers is still all a bit confusing for me.

I can DEFIANTELY tell this is the case.

KEEP READING! I wouldn't suggest doing any modifications until you talk to workshops and understand how all these things work. That way you will know exactly what modifications you want done to your car, WHY you want them done, and exactly what they do.. instead of just going "yep .. loud exhaust.. ill pay $XXX for it." It will also save you in the long run, because yes, workshops DO dodge people by charging more for parts and retunes.
