Is this car of yours sponsored by someone because you keep changing parts on like

I change my jocks. Don't mean to pry into personal business so please don't take it that way

but man this must be costing you a fortune.

Radiorahem, I am not aware of how you are doing your math :sold: However when a diff hat breaks I will replace it, when a CV breaks I will replace that two, I am also not aware about the fortunes you speak of, sponsorship I have plenty of it, it's called friendship and preparation in advance.. My bottom end had done over 77000km at over 400 & 500 & 600kw, nothing last forever mate, the new engine has been 3.5years in the making so the Jock statement I am not aware of exactly what you mean? 6 or 7 months ago my original modified turbo destroyed itself so I replaced it with the current setup :dontknow:

do gas m/s have anythin to do with the new build ?

Gas Motorsports has plenty to do with it LOL...

:spit:

I've been asked if my car is sponsered alot over the last few months.

Spiro has hit the nail on the head with his answer. Building cars like these is ALOT easier when you have mates in the right places. That's still not to say it gets cheaper. You still need the cash and the drive to push through the problems that your going to face. And as you know there are plenty of them when your pushing the limits like Spiro is.

From what I can tell, true sponsorship only exists for a very few in Australia. What you will find is when a businesses or individuals are interested in a project, they may donate their time and resources instead of cash at a project. And time and resources can sometimes be much more valuable than cash.

At the end of the day, the project owner is usually the person handing out the large majority of the folding stuff.

True. Most people have no idea just how much some of us have spent, but we do it because we can and because we enjoy it.
