Well done Spiro, Kyle and Jamie. Im stoked for you as I know how much it meant to all involved.

With these 3 great minds on the job, the result was always going to happen.

Good luck getting your next goal.

Well done Spiro :)

Will the box / clutch hold up to a full power 2 step launch?

I believe the box & clutch will be fine Ben. I do not think we will have an issue on the tree because we can manipulate how much the tyres actually turn releasing some of the pressure on the above :innocent: As far as I can ascertain thus far the only section that gets kinda tempermental is the shift from 3rd to 4th when the old girl is a little hot or the weather is 30deg+ like it was on Saturday.

The sweetspot is between 7200-7600rpm on the shifting a little easier said than done with everything else happenning however you can almost pick it by sound alone (when you know the old girl as well as I do), I have only hit the limiter once in the car in testing and I also couldn't nail 3rd to 4th on one of the failed 2 step launchs when I went too high in the rpm range and flat changed that gear when she was kinda hot, so on the last pass when we did come out of the hole albeit spinning all of first gear and a sh*t 60" I only slamed the first two and played it safe on the last shift so I wouldn't destroy the pass, the results are what they are however if I had let her cool down a little there would have been another 10th or two on that shift as well as around 1.5mph over and above even at that power level.

Let us also not forget that the car with tyres warmed up and 2 step working would of run a minimum of 1.6 in the 60", and most of you fella's should already know that 2 tenths on the 60" equals double that on the ass end, in a perfect world that pass at that power level should have read 9.8@147.5 as a minimum :dontknow::innocent::beerchug:
