I started with a $21000 car, and looking for maybe 290/300rwkw... Now I'm fitting an fg short motor, and planning BIG things for the future - like you guys said, it's only now that I have my motor apart people who want to help come forward.

One thing you guys didn't mention. If you rush the job, the outcome has a high possibility of being compromised.

On a different note the investigation has been completed on the loss of oil pressure in the old girl and the culprit has been identified...

Billet oil pump gears have been demolished which then in turn fried the cams..... I would attach a pic, however it states that I have exceeded my global upload quota???

Rod's, crank, bearings and pistons in the old girl are fine :sold: I'm baffled...

Apparantly I am the only one to have achieved this mildstone with oil in the engine LOL...

I honestly do not know how you blokes are going to push past this threshhold 600,700kw with maintaining current oil pump gear upgrades, Brad from atomic has something stronger on the way I believe & modifies them further...

You know, in spare moments I`ve pondered Spiro`s oil pressure loss..

I kept thinking, it must have eaten the gears, but surely they were billet??

Its certainly an interesting development.

Mitigating circumstance of 77,000 klms and some considerable output has to be acknowledged though surely.
