I run adjustable coilovers with the rebound set pretty hard 27 out of 30, this is the only way so far that I have been able to eliminate axle tramp 95% of the time, if you go soft you relieve a bit of pressure from the rear end however tramp is introduced and the outcome will be identical on a hard launch!

Nice new sig, Headsex! Saw it in this thread first hey. There certainly is plenty of goodness to be found in this thread.

Great, now I have to change mine cos headbang is getting the credit! :beerchug:

Spiro, we would be happy to help you out in the suspension area - I've recently put together some 90/10 struts for Quinn (d rangd), these will obviously give you a great launch, but I'm not sure about them helping the rear end stay together!

Thanks Senna,

I am aware of this option however I would prefer to avoid it because it is not a true street config option, remember I drive the car almost every day and the way it handles is also important to me, I think I would opt in going straight to a 4Link live axle rear end before considering a 90/10 setup.

Thank you for the offer.

that's fine mate, although the ones I did for Quinn are complete replacement struts - bolt them in when you race, then swap back to your Pedders coilover struts for the street. Just like swapping your street wheels for the front runners and slicks.

Haha.. I've had this sig for a few months now... no need to copy pat =)

So tell me more about these 90/10 struts.. I've currently got a set of spare struts re-valved to 90-10, but I think one has a leak....

The 90/10s are a revalved Koni strut using a standard spec King Springs (std height to allow up travel) and they are complete bolt in units using BA-FG strut tops.

Once you've taken the wheel off its only one bolt at the bottom and the three bolts at the top to take te complete strut out
