I understand where your coming from mate, however I have run it 2 or 3 passes in street trim street tune, anything under 5K just boggs down when you have so little slip from the clutch! 6K next time nothing less!!!

Well, my second run was 12.5 full street trim. Full rear tyre pressure, jack and spare on board 27C 65% humidity.

I was pretty scattered from sleep deprivation.

After viewing Spiros` commitment first hand and the professionalism of the people backing him up I see no reason why he won`t achieve the goal he`s set.

5tealth was well worth waiting to see.. I can only guess what that car could run if all the ducks were lined up.

looking forward to your next attempt spiko. I didnt think the stock shaft had a chance. probably would have gone too ,but was saved by the surrounding breakages. are you staying in qld for the repairs and racing again soon?

What a shame Spiro, It's a so so so common problem. With my old BA F6 I went down praying it would all be ok, First pass 4000 rpm launch it launched like a missle and snapped the diff hat broke the bolt and failed. I drove it down regardless with gentle throttle just squeezing it down to try and feel what had busted. 12.4 @ 125 from memory. For the next 12 months I got slagged on forums by some small minded halfwits that my car wasnt making the power blah blah.... Even though it was broken off the line.

Regardless of the kick in the guts I felt from it breaking I still went down with the new one, Breaks first pass. Twists the imput shft off going into 5th gear, even though it ran a 103 to half track with a 2.2 60 apparently its not making the power. New 26 spline in the box take it back AGAIN, get 1 half decent pass and it breaks again. (11.5 @ 136), And that's slow changes ect trying to be gentle so it didnt break again...

WHat I find sad about the entire thing is alot of people dont realise the effort that goes into trying to do what your doing now, What ive done and others with big power manuals go through to try and run fast and since they dont realise they just dont understand the power versus your time and mph. All they see is autos runing fast from less power and a BUCKET load less effort. Its not like a 6 speed auto, point and steer, sip your coffee on the way down the track, wave as you go past your misses in the stand (Or the hot blonde sitting 3 seats away from her).

Im also very dissapointed that the albins shafts have given you grief, I was thinking we had something we could finaly put in our cars that wouldnt break. I have 2 sets on order one for my F6 and one for Ramon. Im starting to think if I should still get them, @ nearly 5000.00 a set......

Have another crack at it mate, Your turbo's a bit smaller then mine and even though I was dropping the clutch @ 5000 I wouldnt have the torque and power at 5000 that you would so you could probably affort to back it off a touch.
