Haha, its easy to sit in the grand stand and throw stones isn't it, feel free to start your own threads with your awesome efforts..... Oh that's right, you only know how to TELL others how awesome you are :buttrock:

My awsomeness™ is known to those who matter.

Couple this to trying to do it all on the stock computer, with 1000cc injectors and 30+psi on mapping that stops at 22 with race fuel due to bottoming the load cell, and all of a sudden you have a whole f*cking HEAP of factors to take into consideration that most experts will only ever dream about experiencing let alone doing themselves.

So first step is rather obvious, Quit playing with a pegged Map sensor.

Part number 0 281 002 576.. Its a bolt in replacement.

The ford PCM is very capable of running a 4bar map sensor. Maybe you should ask a "expert" who's done it before.

Jamie had mentioned a while ago that you had succesfully added and tuned with the 4 bar map sensor, so its definately an option worth considering. The tune side of things has only become such a difficult task with the new camshafts, it was almost perfect with the old cams, both Braydens and Spiro's car have run up to 37psi with no issues including general drivability, though tuning the new "stage 5+" cams has proven a difficult task. At the end of the day, I am not the tuner, Jamie is, and for the most part while I decide on the boost pressure, overal timing and afr's, I don't know my way around the ford mapping at all, I'm sure it would only take time to learn, but then that's what I pay Jamie for :buttrock: The car outside of the mapping is doing everything we designed it for and expected it to, it was pretty neutral in launch meaning I guessed the neutral line pretty spot on, and when we get the car a little more dialed in I'll put some more anti-squat in it and we'll really see some wheels up launchs :beerchug:

At the end of the day nothing at this level happens overnight, We'll get there, that's what testing is for :roflmbo:

I think it should be a definite option.. rather than something to think about...

Get me the catch code the tune is based on from jamie.. And we'll work something out.

Well as we both know, the drivability shouldn't have been effected, as the only problem with a pegged map sensor is at 22psi when its mega rich, and lacks timing, until it gets closer to the tuned boost level.

My "assumption" would be that this is somewhat of the reason for the 3rd gear miss, as pilot spiro grabs 3rd gear, the load level passed through that stupid rich and mega regarded region somewhat fouling the plugs.

I've had some cars particularly ZF based cars do this on gearshift, as to stop excessive wear on the ZF, I've had to manipulate the torque reduction on gearchanges, which the -10 degree's timing is enough to cause it to miss much like spiros did... I can only imagine how much worse it would be given the Fuel mixtures massively richer around the 22psi load level.

The factory spark system on these cars suck arse. The only solution ive seen that works with the factory pcm is a voltage booster for the coilpacks. Which this being another option you could consider.

youtube is a wonderful thing, and the video speaks a hundred words.. And if you read my latest post, you will see the reasoning behind my assumptions.

Once all this gremlins are sorted, there should be no reason why this car won't fly.
