Well we went out tonight for some private subtle testing to see how the old girl would respond to the changes.......... As well as to set and tune the rear end for obvious reasons, I cannot praise the experience and continued attention, knowledge & focus of the 6Boost team regarding the mammoth task of putting/building and tuning a rear end to put so much power to the ground in a 2 tonne car

I had the most fun I have ever had at Willowbank even though it didn't have an absence of the black Voodoo issues throughout the night. First pass obviously just drove it off the line at full noise to ascertain that we had no traction and a slight pulling to one side issue.........

We decided to take a fair wack of power out of the old girl and start working on the 60" :stupid: 2 step engaged the old girl bogs a little of the line with minor boost and as I get to 3rd gear coffing and splattering no momentum :dontknow: We try again and again without fail only to get to third and no go no rpm over 5000 just a dead stop. We lamented on this for a while and started the elimination process, maybe I'm shifting into 5th, maybe I'm holding down the 2 step button etc etc.. At one stage I had all the team looking at me with one eye :dontknow::buttonit: I even started doubting myself :dontknow: Turns out at the end of the night it was none of the above and the car was breaking down in 3rd for some reason that I will let Kyle elaborate on shortly :spoton:

The one thing we did achieve with flying colors was a 1.66 60 foot with a relatively soft launch  The car comes out of the whole so nicely for an 1800kg fat girl that this has made our night.. We will be back out shortly with the voodoo's rectified. Video footage will be forthcoming shortly.....

Best run of the night 12.8@107 1st & 2nd only with a cruise over the line :roflmbo:

Timesheet attached.. :stirthepot:

Amazing what a little reliability can do!

Looks a little soft in the front though mate - might need a higher spring rate since you are going to get decent weight transfer on gear changes :stirthepot:

And this is what it looks like when the old girl doesn't feel like idling after the burnout and the 2 step doesn't feel like working either :icon_ford: not to mention the mid track Voodoo coughing mid track. LOL :icon_ford::dontknow:

All in all we had a blast and got some much needed on my part testing without the old breaking, so off we go again fine tuning this week.. And back out to the track God willing in a heartbeat. :dontknow:
