Couldnt crack the 1500? :sleepystuff:

That is f*cking amazing!!!

If you put some lighter/smaller wheels I'm sure this this thing would have 1500rwhp!!! LOL

I can imagine the 1st-2nd shift at the drags would happen instantly!!!

If you could get the 60foot right down this thing is gonna be seriously f*cking quick!!!

Now, once you cracked the 9's in manual form, 8's in auto... Chuck the engine in a Capri with tubs and go for a 6!!!

Maybe as I haven't posted here much you take my forwardness as for more angry and abrupt than intended UTE 6F, I took your post relatively light heartedly, and judging by the fact you wished spiro all the best, I knew your post wasn't intended to be rude. If you read my post more clearly though, I said how many H pattern cars in AUSTRALIA run 9's? I can think of 1 supra, 2 evo's, 1 wrx, and 2 vl's, so that's a total of 6 cars, and the heaviest is a supra at 3600lb with as much money as spiro's spent on it, and 10 time stronger factory rear end and manual box. Sure maybe there is hundreds if not thousands of these cars WORLDWIDE that run 9's, but then if the BA-FG falcon was sold worldwide in the same numbers in countries with the same amount of development potential we might have seen 9's years ago and have hundreds doing so as well;)

We don't use much BW stuff as garrett has proven almost unbreakable, more companies stock them, as well as having a broader range available. Plain bearing stuff in most cases with 20-30psi of boost we find doesn't last more than 12-24 months without needing a rebuild. I also don't think the VNT stuff will catch on with performance engines, if it was doable we would have seen it on indy cars or similar high level motorsport by now. I'm not sure if the system will stand up to the temperature and rpm some performance turbo's are driven to. The jury is out till I see more:)

6BOOST

No sweat - also remember while weighing half as much they also have half the displacement, it's actually a pretty fair comparo. Slicks negate AWD and I suggest anyone who othinks it's easy to run a decent time (9's) in an AWD to reconsider...

All that aside I hope there's a fistful of lauch control dialed into this slug with some red hot anti lag for the changes dialed in (quick as they will be), otherwise it aint going no-where, in a big hurry.

And Spiro - get a hub dyno if those cheap a$$ tyres you have are no good. ( do hub dyno's go up past a megawatt??? )
