I can't imagine having a car that powerful on the street as a daily... The temptation to drag is just too big... My licence just would not last... SPIKO Gold Donating Members 1,924 Member For: 19y 9m 15d Gender: Male Posted 06/08/10 09:37 PM Author Share Posted 06/08/10 09:37 PM (edited) Nah mate, turbo stays, most of the R&D on this old girl has been focused on street-ability, you would actually be surprised with how much power the F6 can put to the ground in it's current configuration The refinement I state has to do with further suspension & rear end setup, fine tuning as well as boost management that I have been working on personally for the past 6 week's...... eg. 3500rpm 15psi 4000rpm 18psi 4500rpm 20psi 5000rpm 23psi etc....... Nothing but quarter throttle can be utilized in first and second however even at that the acceleration is extreme, I have managed to massage the suspension enough to achieve full throttle/boost traction from 3rd gear on-wards depending on surfaces and I guarantee you that it is an experience that cannot be explained without you actually being in the car.....To put things in to perspective have a look closely at one of my early passes with a bogged/failed launch and 200+rwkw's less than it currently can achieve easily.... See what happens when I put my foot down after a failed launch only utilizing 3 gears, & spending over 2.5seconds in the 60 zone Video - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video HostingOn a different note Houston we may have a problem re: today's racing :spam: Looks like the day before Voodoo sh*t has visited once again, the boy's are franticly trying to sort it out in time for me though so all I can do is wait I honestly can't believe this is happening to us again, I will not elaborate as yet until we are certain worse comes to worse it will have to be this Wednesday or coming Saturday........ Nothing more frustrating than thinking it's all good then having last minute troubles...I should have gone out in sympathy with you during your build... I honestly thought much of the time you were spending working on the car that you could have been racing it(ie. I thought you were sitting on your hands waiting for competition, not actually working on the car...) I spent 8 months trying to get my 350rwkw xr6t to run on petrol and liquid gas on the same tune... It was annoying as f*ck!!! LOL barely drove the car on gas cause the tank wouldn't fill for some reason and then we couldn't get enough fuel... Cause it was my daily, I spent months dropping the car off in the morning and borrowing cars etc...So, why didn't you just run with the same setup that got the 11.04??? Did something break??? The old girl, the team & I have only but one task left... Still feel like sh*t so gonna give it a miss... Keep thinking to myself... Maybe you should go... Hmmmm... Bet you are spewing.... Would be shattered if ENVY beat you too it... Although, even if they did... I'm sure yours will be quicker... And it'll be pretty hard to do it first time. There's usually teething problems with anything...
