I'm continually amazed on how this project is progressing... Well done guys.

Spiro, I love your attitude... no such thing as taking little steps forward eh?

Cheers John, in some/most cases this attitude does work against me, however the rewards/accomplishments are always greater and so are the risks.. At the end of the day I can only be myself, some like it, some don't, some would do it differently, some won't........ It is what it is.......:buttrock:

By the way, no aftermarket CPU/CDI etc.. & standard coils & map sensor.. :beerchug:

Mate, just keep doing what you are doing as long as you are enjoying it. It's all good...

At the end of the day you cant keep everyone happy and be in agreement with your approach and there are always going to be the knockers.

If everyone followed everyone else we would still be pulling a kart behind a horse.

Your project is getting me geed up to take the taxi to the next level.

I'm going to have to visit you guys up there and see the beast in action. Let us know when you are next taking it out for a run down the quarter.

I read the first 10 pages but decided to skip to 56 cos that's alot of reading...lol

do you have a calander of when you go out to the track? would be good to see some runs of a 600kw monster....

p.s. my pb on 265x18s nankangs is 12.4 and 12.7 on 245x20 triangles - manual, street tires are good if you have no power;)

I got a block sitting in the shed waiting to get abused and hopefully crack some 10s one day....its a ute so probably makes it a bit easier:) might need a bit of diet though...

Lmao @ triangles!! I went from Kumho KU31s on the rear to these, and omfg. My car now feels like its got 500kw, its so messy. They are definitely the worst tires I've ever used, and anything above 70km/h there noisy as! There 245/40/18s I'm pretty sure.

I have run a 12.322@109mph with a 1.820 60ft with the old standard modified flap turbo on street tyres(20's) in mid 2009... I believe the power was around 350-360rwkw's :beerchug::spit: And yes I have the timeslip..
