well, I havent studied a manual fg properly, but it is a cylinder cut.. and it does sound like it has retarded timing too.... Just need to bring the revs up higher, more retard, and more fuel! Hello PROFX

I know there's features in earlier pcms which are not enabled.. ie, one touch start like on the FG's in a BF pcm...

I'll sus out the launch feature in the fg manuals this evening..

Yes it is a spark cut, and yes something is done with timing so the combustion happens in the manifold (for lack of a better explanation). The reason it dosn't build enough boost is that it shuts down cylinders while its on launch control so the manifold doesn't get too hot. If you can figure out how to keep all cylinders firing then you'll have a proper anti-lag, imo

LOL Pat, shutting down cylinders is the only way it can build boost buddy....... :beerchug: The reason the FG setup is not sufficient enough has nothing to do with that part my good friend...

The lengths my team has gone to so that they may actually register a run without total wheel spin on the Elite dyno and slicks is beyond comprehension :turboboink:

Unfortunately there is no vid of the full run because we were all in the back of the car LMAO..
