Don't believe you did it on purpose, just read what the weather station said, and typed it in.

But, if you saw a huge correction factor larger than 2% should ring bells that somethings not right.

As you can see by my photos above, as soon as you type the numbers in, the correction factor is calculated.

Just transfer the $600 to the forum Danny, and iff I don't make more power with your Baro whatever I will pay you $1200 :stirthepot:

Did you fella's not see the smoke coming off the tires? What percent is that Danny?

Just been doing a little research on this subject.

Now Toowoomba is on top of a pretty big hill and has an altitude of around 700 metres (2300 ft) above sea level

Archerfeild (Elite Auto) has an altitude of about 17m (56 ft) above sea level.

Melbourne (or Thomastown to narrow it down a little) for reference sake has an altitude of around 111m (365 ft)

Now I found a table that shows the air pressure differences between different altitudes.. Link to it is here. Altitude vs Pressure table

Either way, taking away ANY correction, it still makes 1015 rwhp with plenty more in it (if we weren't running low on fuel).

Anyway that's just my 2 cents. :stirthepot:

To prove what I've found with your Shootout information does not need futher dyno runs.

Quite simply, approach the dyno, on the bar graph screen, press CTRL - A, and take a photo.. Correction will be listed there.

Or wait, Based on Dyno shootout details, 1.091 correction

Toowoomba Ap 24 hour history graph of temperature, wind and rainfall

Unless your in a different Toowoomba to that recorded weather data, it shows on average of 1019.8 yesterday

You still havn't shown me what a data logger shows for barometric pressure, where you are in relation to what your weather station shows.

What are you talking about? Whats my location or Weather station got to do with the price of fish?

With a Dyno dynamics analog dyno, "CTRL - A" Allows manual entry of Air conditions.

I manually entered the values as shown in the Shootout data printed on the bottom of the graph.

I realise this...

I just curious to know what the baro where you are reads.

Yesterday the weather station at the dyno read 941, as did the BARO PRES (94.0) on the data logger.

Anyway, I guess we will all get to see a benchmark of all types of vehicles next weekend.

And finally Uncle Spiro states for the last time............... Remember we use dynos to tune & measure differences when making changes to our combinations... The final numbers are NOT important enough to take up 3 pages in dispute on this thread!!! If you look hard enough you find something wrong with anything fella's grow up.

Real comparisons can only be measured in real time at 1 location with the same set of rules for all & on the race track where a plethora of other setup variances & combinations can also cause major differences, unless once again you are using a robotic driver & fiting engines in to the same car over and over again!!

There are some people believe it or not that visit this thread because they are interested in reading on how the car performs after changes being made, and what our views are on the various components being tested :beerchug: It is only a minority reading that is concerend with who made more the who...

Capishe?

Danny my good Friend let me tell you a secret......I do not look at any of what you have mentioned :stirthepot: I walk a different path my friend & focus on measuring our efforts on a stable platform with non varying conditions :stirthepot: Otherwise known as RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT :beerchug:
