Not only is a modified car harder to sell than a standard one but you will never get a return on what you have spent. A wise person once told me that you dont build cars to make money. And that is the truth when it comes to late model mass produced cars like ours
seduced Need more power. Now taking donations. Built cars are not an investment under ANY circumstances, they will always produce a loss. They are only worth the cash if the owner is prepared to keep it. Sorry man, but I doubt you'll get more than 30grand as a whole... even from a member here... Trust is not the issue, its having a loan approved for 60k on what is essentially a BA falcon. Banks are not enthusiasts. Unless someone has a large wad of cash laying around and is is desperate need for a potential 450kw T???You could source a std motor, box etc and then sell your built gear off seperately to redeem more cash, but that will consume much time.Is there no other way? Is there any hope of keeping the car?

That would easily be your best bet as I think all that would add only about 5 grand give or take. If you wanted more you'd really be holding out for the right buyer.I'll be selling a car soon for less than what I spent on mods alone but that's just the way it is. Luckily it doesnt owe me anything. I probably wouldnt buy a heavily modified car unless I had even bigger plans for it, the gamble on the previous owners choices and integrity is just too big. If we didnt screw each other over as a community (car enthusiasts) I doubt it would be so bad.
